Once again Lucia Heros, whose family owns the plantation in Nicaragua where the wonderful Las Flores coffee is grown, joins us to give tips and a demonstration of how you can save tons of money by not having to go to a "designer" coffee shop for great coffee drinks. And she will provides tastings of all of them!

The class begins at 2:00 on Saturday, December 2. Although there is no charge, we would like to ask that you make a reservation. If that session fills up, we will do another one later that afternoon.

The family of Memphis resident Lucia Heros grows Café Las Flores, a premium, washed Arabica coffee produced from plantations located on the Mombacho Volcano in Granada, Nicaragua. It is a beautifully balanced, highly fragrant Estate grown coffee, roasted daily in small batches to ensure freshness and unsurpassed quality. Café Las Flores is now available at Mantia's International Foods.

Nicaragua's natural diversity creates a perfect environment for the production of great coffee. Café Las Flores is cultivated in the beautifully rich Mombacho Volcano Natural Reserve. The harvest is selectively hand-picked and roasted in small batches to ensure freshness.

Lucia will be at Mantia's, 4856 Poplar Avenue, on Saturday, December 2, to teach you to "Be Your Own Barrista." Using Café Las Flores, she will make a number of coffee variations and drinks, and pass along tricks of the trade. Think of the money you can save by avoiding expensive "designer" coffee shops!

She will also have samples of coffee based lotions and soaps, available in beautifully packaged gift boxes.
